Getting Started with Trust Wallet for Polygon (MATIC) and USDC.e:
Download and install Trust Wallet on your mobile device.
Create a new wallet or import an existing one.
Add the Polygon network to Trust Wallet by going to Settings > Networks > Add Custom Network. Use the following details:
Network Name: Polygon
RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.matic.network (mainnet) or https://rpc-mumbai.matic.today (Amoy testnet)
ChainID: 137 (mainnet) or 80001 (Mumbai testnet)
Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com/ (mainnet) or https://explorer-mumbai.matic.today/ (Amoy testnet)
Add USDC.e to Trust Wallet on the Polygon network by searching for "USDC.e" and selecting the token.
Add Matic (MATIC) to Trust Wallet on the Polygon network by searching for "MATIC" and selecting the token.
To send or receive USDC.e or Matic, tap on the respective token in Trust Wallet and use the Send or Receive buttons. Double-check addresses before confirming transactions.
Now you're ready to manage your Polygon assets using Trust Wallet! Keep your recovery phrase secure to protect your funds.
Buy USDC:
Once your Trust Wallet is funded, locate and select the USDC.e token within the app.
Click on the "Buy" button and choose the option to purchase USDC.e using your linked bank card.
Enter the amount of USDC you want to buy and proceed with the payment.
Buy Matic (Polygon):
In the Trust Wallet app, locate and select the Matic token (Polygon).
Click on the "Buy" button and choose the option to purchase Matic using your linked bank card.
Enter the amount of Matic you want to buy and proceed with the payment.
Fee Table:
USDC.e Purchase
1.5% (of the transaction amount) + $0.50 (fixed fee)
Matic Purchase
2.0% (of the transaction amount) + $0.75 (fixed fee)
